Throughout the episode, flashbacks show the night of Nora’s murder and how Wells ended up trapped in that time, and what he does after that fact, such as meeting his wife and her subsequent death. Barry deduces that Wells is Reverse-Flash due to how he was able to so accurately describe Barry’s running and phasing. Joe and Barry decide to reveal to Eddie that Barry is the Flash, as they need his help in convincing Iris that Mason intentionally left the country. He’s given a tour of Star Labs before going back to prison. He takes off his mask, showing himself to Henry, even though Henry already knows. They’re able to conjure up a cure at the lab and Barry gives it to everyone, then finds his father.
